Inspired by the legacy of Lala Jugal Kishore Jewellers, Chandrika Tales aims to offer jewellery that can be worn across everyday life, travel, and festive occasions, blending tradition with modern sensibilities.
🚀 Chandrika Tales’ Journey
Chandrika Tales was conceptualized by Tanya Rastogi, Director of the label, in collaboration with the younger generation of the Lala Jugal Kishore Jewellers family. The idea emerged from a desire to introduce something fresh within the legacy brand, while drawing inspiration from the Jewels of Awadh.
Choosing silver allowed the brand to explore ambitious designs without the cost constraints associated with gold. The journey of Chandrika Tales unfolds in two phases—beginning with minimal, wearable designs featuring subtle Awadhi influences, followed by more elaborate statement pieces with stronger references to Awadh’s architecture and its distinctive blue and pink meenakari.
Launched as a dedicated label within all Lala Jugal Kishore Jewellers showrooms, Chandrika Tales is now expanding its presence through pop-ups and future independent retail spaces, marking a new chapter in the house’s evolving legacy.
